Sherwood Forest is a 700 resident community developed by W. Gordon (Willie) Belser in the 1930’s.

Residents enjoy this walkable established terrain loaded with thousands of trees and the pristine, 9-acre USC Belser Arboretum, an education laboratory on a tributary, which is part of the Gills Creek Watershed. Heathwood and Simms City parks are within six blocks.

Sherwood Forest is in the Richland One School District. Students can walk to Rosewood Elementary, Hand Middle, St. Josephs Elementary and Dreher High School which are all award winning institutions.
