Lake Wateree is a 21 square miles reservoir bordering Kershaw, Fairfield and Lancaster counties in South Carolina. It is one of South Carolina’s oldest man-made lakes. It has 181 miles of shoreline which includes Lake Wateree State Park, a bird refuge, and the Shaw AirForce Base Recreation center.
